Kiwi - Watermelon Margarita Slush

  1. Make Lime Infused Simple Syrup:.
  2. Bring 1 Cup Water to a boil and add Sugar.
  3. Stir until sugar dissolves and remove from heat.
  4. Stir in juice and zest of one lime.
  5. Cool in refrigerator for 2-4 hours.
  6. Make Watermelon Ice Cubes:.
  7. Place Watermelon and 1/2 cup of the Lime Infused Simple Syrup into a blender.
  8. Liquefy and pour into 2 ice cube trays.
  9. Freeze until firm -- about 4 hours.
  10. To make the Margarita:.
  11. Add the Watermelon Cubes, Kiwi Cubes, Tequila, Orange Liquer, and Juice of the second lime into a blender.
  12. Blend until the desired consistency.
  13. I actually like it to be less frozen than a typical Margarita or Daquiri.
  14. I also like to do this in batches as to not overload the blender.
  15. Serve in pretty glasses rimmed with coarse salt.
  16. Garnish with a splash of sparkling wine and kiwi slices.
