Whole Wheat Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In large bowl, cream butter, peanut butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla.
  3. Fold in dry ingredients, except wheat germ.
  4. Blend into cream mix; shape into 1 inch balls and roll in wheat germ.
  5. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Flatten in criss-cross pattern with fork tines.
  7. Bake 10 to 12 min.
  8. Cold slightly, then remove from pan.
  9. Yield: 4 dozen.
