Beef Rib Stew (semur iga sapi)
- 500 g beef rib
- 3-4 potatoes
- 100 ml sweet soy sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp white pepper powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp nutmeg powder
- 6 cloves garlic
- 8 pieces spring onions (bawang merah)
- 2 chilies
- 1 bayleaf
- 1 galangal
- 2 lime leaves
- 1 stalk lemongrass
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 200 ml water
- Seasoning paste: crush garlics, spring onions, chilies, and salt until mix well.
- Put olive oil and cook the seasoning paste until the color changes and fragrant.
- Add water and stir well.
- Put the other ingredients and cook for 3 minutes.
- After that, put in the beef rib and potatoes.
- Cook until the beef rib and potatoes are soft (check with fork or knife).
- Serve with fried onion on the top.
