Wild Rice-Chicken Supreme(Good Enough For Company, Brunch Or Dinner)

  1. Prepare rice and seasoning packets according to directions. Melt the butter in a large saucepan.
  2. Add onions; cook on low until tender.
  3. Stir in the flour, salt, pepper, half and half and chicken broth.
  4. Cook until thickened.
  5. Stir in chicken, pimentos, parsley, almonds and cooked rice.
  6. Place in 2-quart casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 425u0b0 for 30 minutes.
  7. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
