Turkey Provolone Toaster Sandwich
- 1 slice rye bread, cut in half crosswise
- 4 ounces thinly sliced lean turkey breast or lean, lower-sodium deli turkey
- 1 slice reduced-fat provolone cheese (I used Sargento), cut in half
- Preheat a toaster oven or the oven to 400F.
- Place one bread half-slice on a small baking sheet.
- Top it evenly with one of the cheese halves, the turkey, and then the remaining piece of cheese.
- Top that with the remaining half-slice of bread.
- Bake until the cheese is melted and the bread is lightly toasted, about 5 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
