Barley Bean Soup Recipe

  1. Boil water, covering beans and soak 1 hour.
  2. Pour off water and add in 2 qts fresh water.
  3. Add in remaining ingredients.
  4. Cover and cook over low heat for 3 hrs or possibly till beans are tender.
  5. Stir occasionally.
  6. Makes 10 servings.
