Sweet Pork
- 1 can (12 Oz. Can) Dr. Pepper
- 1 bottle (8 Oz. Bottle) Red Taco Sauce
- 1- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1/4 cups Fresh Cilantro, Chopped
- 4 pounds Pork Shoulder, Boneless
- Combine sauce ingredients in a crock pot and then add pork.
- Cook on low for 8 hours or if you are in a hurry, do high for 5-6 hours.
- Shred pork two hours before the end and let it continue to cook in the sauce.
- We like to cook up some tortillas, and fill them with rice, beans salsa, lettuce, cheese and the pork and eat it like a Mexican salad or burrito.
