Easy Sweet & Sour BBQ Chicken
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 cup bbq sauce
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 cup crushed pineapple
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 salt and pepper
- 1 olive oil; as needed
- Toss chicken breasts with enough oil to cover.
- Season with dried spices.
- Combine bbq sauce, vinegar, pineapple, and sugar in a small saucepan.
- Reduce by 1/4 on medium-low heat.
- Place chicken in saute pan with bbq sauce.
- Cover.
- Bake at 350 for approximately 45-50 minutes or until thermometer reaches 165.
- Uncover during last ten minutes and baste chicken.
- Variations; Pear juice, tamarind, Chinese bbq, ginger, mustard, parsley, scallions, chives, raspberry, basil, other vinegar,
