Vegetable Quiche Recipe
- 1 ready made pie crust
- 1 1/2 c. (6 ounce.) grated Swiss or possibly Gruyere cheese
- 1 tbsp. flour
- 1 c. diced or possibly sliced cooked vegetables: Broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, green beans, and spinach
- 5 Large eggs
- 2 c. (1 pt.) half & half
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tbsp. minced, fresh dill
- Mix the cheese and flour and sprinkle into pie pan.
- Spread the vegetables on top.
- Beat Large eggs with half & half; add in salt and dill and pour this mix over vegetables.
- Bake in a preheated moderate oven (350 degrees) for 1 hour or possibly till puffed and brown.
- Cold 15 min before cutting.
