Greek Gyros in crockpot or oven

  1. First you need to make your meat.
  2. I prefer the crockpot but you can also do it like meatloaf.
  3. For every 1 lb of hamburger you add 2 to 3 tsp.
  4. of Cavenders Greek Seasoning.
  5. If doing crockpot just shape to fit in bottom without touching sides.
  6. Cook for 4 to 5 hours on low.
  7. If doing in the oven, place on a pan for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
  8. 350 degrees.
  9. Next you need to chop.....
  10. Tomatoes, lettuce, onions (preferably purple), feta cheese
  11. Then you need to make some sauce...
  12. Homemade Cucumber Yogurt Sauce 1 cup yogurt 1/2 cucumber finely shredded (the finer the better) 1 tsp.
  13. dill weed (dry) 1 Tbsp.
  14. dill weed fresh 2 tsp.
  15. Sugar 1 clove garlic pressed 1/3 tsp.
  16. salt
  17. Mix all together and serve.
  18. And last you need pita bread.
