Digestive Biscuits

  1. Pre heat oven to 190/170 fan or Gas mark 5 & line 2 baking trays with baking parchment.
  2. Add the flour, oats and baking powder to a bowl and mix together.
  3. Add the butter to the bowl and mix together until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
  4. Add the maple syrup and mix until dough like .
  5. Wrap in cling film and chill for 1 hour.
  6. Roll out the dough and cut to into desired circle size - makes up to 24 biscuits.
  7. Place the biscuits on the lined trays and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
  8. Remove biscuits from oven and add to cooling rack.
  9. Once cooled enjoy :-)
