Two Great Tastes Pudding Parfaits Recipe
- 1 (4 3/4 ounce.) pkg. vanilla pudding & pie filling
- 3 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 c. Reese's peanut butter chips
- 1 c. Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Whipped topping (optional)
- In a large, heavy saucepan combine pudding mix and 3 1/2 c. lowfat milk (rather than amount listed in package directions).
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, till mix comes to full boil.
- Remove from heat; divide warm mix between 2 heatproof medium bowls.
- Immediately stir peanut butter chips into mix in one bowl and chocolate chips into mix in second bowl.
- Stir both mixtures till chips are melted and smooth.
- Cold slightly, stirring occasionally.
- Alternately spoon peanut butter and chocolate mixtures into parfait glasses, champagne glasses or possibly dessert dishes.
- Place plastic wrap directly onto surface of each dessert; chill several hrs or possibly overnight.
- Top with whipped topping and garnish as desired.
- Makes about 4 to 6 servings.
