Fried mashed potatoes and gravy bombs
- 1 cup gravy
- 4 cup cold mashed potatoes
- 3 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 cup flour
- 2 eggs, whisked
- 1 cup panko
- 2 quart vegetable oil
- Pour gravy into Ice cube tray,and place in freezer, un-mold gravy cubes and cut into 4 pieces
- In large bowl mix potatoes, cream cheese, parmesan cheese, salt and pepper
- Place eggs, flour, and bread crumbs into 3 separate bowls.
- Wrap 2 tablespoons of potatoes around 1 gravy cube.
- Dredge in flour, shake off excess, dip into eggs, and coat in panko, repeat with remaining bombs
- Heat oil to 375f, fry bombs a few at a time for 3-4 minutes out until golden brown, drain and serve warm
