Red Beans and Rice
- 1 pound Dry Kidney Beans, Rinsed And Sorted
- 6 cups Water
- 5 cubes Regular Bouillon Cubes
- 1/2 pounds Smoked Turkey Sausage
- 1 Medium Onion, Diced
- 5 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 2 teaspoons Tony Chacheres Or Creole Seasoning
- 3/4 teaspoons Cumin
- 3/4 teaspoons Corriander
- 1/2 teaspoons Oregano
- 1/2 teaspoons Smoked Paprika
- 4 cups Cooked Rice
- Combine all ingredients (except the rice) in the bowl of your crockpot.
- Cook on high for 6 hours.
- Once beans are tender, mash about half of them in the crockpot.
- This helps give the beans that starchy sauce!
- Finish cooking time.
- Serve over rice.
- Enjoy!
