Shrimp Chowder

  1. Brown bacon in medium size pot over medium-high heat.
  2. Remove bacon from pot and set aside.
  3. Add onion and celery to bacon drippings and saute for 3 minutes.
  4. Add corn, chicken broth, and hash browns.
  5. Bring mixture to a boil and reduce heat to low.
  6. Add cream, cream cheese, and cooked bacon.
  7. Simmer for 25 minutes.
  8. Stir in shrimp and cheddar cheese and simmer an additional 10 minutes.
