Raspberry Velvet Melange

  3. In a large bowl combine gelatin and boiling water.
  4. Stir until gelatin is dissolved.
  5. Stir in the cold water, 1/2 cup chocolate syrup, and whipping cream.
  6. Stir well to combine.
  7. Cover and chill about 1 hour or until cool but not set.
  8. Pour into a 1- to 2-quart electric ice cream maker; freeze gelatin mixture according to manufacturer's instructions.
  9. Ripen if desired.

  11. Top each serving with remaining 1/2 cup chocolate syrup.
  12. Serve with raspberries.
