Sorollitos (Puerto Rican corn fritters)

  1. In a sauce pan, boil water with sugar, salt and butter
  2. Once boiling stir in corn meal and remove from heat
  3. Stir until smooth and their are hardly any lumps and let cool
  4. Once cooled wet your hands and take about a lime size amount of dough in your hands and roll into logs.
  5. If dough starts to stick to your hands just wet them again and again.
  6. Fry in medium high heat until golden brown.
  7. * for more options you can also add cheddar cheese inside of them and also serve them with mayoketchup
