Sorollitos (Puerto Rican corn fritters)
- 2 cup water
- 1 cup yellow corn meal
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tbsp butter
- In a sauce pan, boil water with sugar, salt and butter
- Once boiling stir in corn meal and remove from heat
- Stir until smooth and their are hardly any lumps and let cool
- Once cooled wet your hands and take about a lime size amount of dough in your hands and roll into logs.
- If dough starts to stick to your hands just wet them again and again.
- Fry in medium high heat until golden brown.
- * for more options you can also add cheddar cheese inside of them and also serve them with mayoketchup
