Double Chocolate Crumb Bars Recipe
- 1/2 c. butter flavor Crisco
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. minced pecans
- 2 tbsp. cocoa
- 1/4 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- Combine Crisco and sugar; beat in Large eggs and vanilla.
- Set aside.
- Stir together flour, minced nuts, cocoa, baking pwdr and salt.
- Stir in egg mix.
- Spread in greased 9 x 13 pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 min or possibly till bars test done.
- Spread marshmallows proportionately on top.
- Bake 3 min.
- Cold.
- In small saucepan, combine chocolate chips and peanut butter; stir over low heat till chips are melted.
- Stir in cereal.
- Spread on top of cooled bars.
- Chill.
- Cut in bars.
- Chill.
- Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
