Barbecued Chicken Pizza
- 1 ready made pizza crusts or 1 pizza dough
- 1 cup prepared pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded parmesan cheese or 2 cups mozzarella cheese or 2 cups monterey jack cheese
- 13 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons pancake syrup or 2 teaspoons molasses
- 14 teaspoon garlic powder
- 14 teaspoon onion powder
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 18-14 teaspoon cayenne
- 14-12 teaspoon liquid smoke
- 6 ounces canned white chicken meat, rinsed, drained and flaked
- Preheat the oven to 450 (or as pizza crust directions indicate).
- Prepare the pizza crust according to the package directions.
- Spread the pizza sauce on the dough, leaving a 1/4-inch space along the perimeter.
- Sprinkle the cheese over the sauce.
- In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine the ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, syrup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, cayenne, and liquid smoke.
- Stir to blend.
- Add the chicken, then drop the chicken sauce mixture by forkfuls onto the cheese topping.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is browned and the cheese has melted.
