Romaine Salad with Blue Cheese Vinaigrette

  1. Place lettuce in a big bowl.
  2. Combine garlic, oregano, sugar and vinegar in a small bowl.
  3. Add oil to dressing in a slow stream and mix with a whisk or fork.
  4. Stir in blue cheese.
  5. Pour dressing over salad and toss.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
