Veal And Pork Stroganoff With Sauerkraut Recipe
- 6 tbsp. onion, minced
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 3/4 pound veal, 1" cubes
- 3/4 pound pork, 1" cubes
- 1 pound sauerkraut
- 1 wine glass sauterne wine
- 1 c. lowfat sour cream
- 1 teaspoon caraway seed
- Saute/fry the onions in butter till golden brown.
- Add in the meat and brown lightly.
- Add in the sauerkraut and wine.
- Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
- Add in lowfat sour cream and caraway seed.
- Simmer 30 min longer.
- Serves 4.
