Tuna with Spaghetti in the Oven
- 350 grams Spaghetti Noodles
- 1 Small Onion, Peeled, To Cook With The Pasta
- 1/4 cups Olive Oil
- 1 Large Onion, Thinly Sliced
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 2 Medium Ripe Tomatoes, Chopped
- 400 grams Canned Tuna, Drained
- 2 cups Bechamel Sauce, Store Bought White Sauce, Or Homemade
- Grated Cheese (to Taste)
- Thyme, To Taste
- Salt To Taste

- Cook the spaghetti in a pan with water seasoned with a peeled whole onion and a little salt.
- When the pasta is cooked according to package instructions, drain it and set aside on a plate.

- Preheat oven to 180 degrees C .
- Place the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Then add the onion slices, bay leaf and the tomatoes.
- Leave to saute over low heat until the tomatoes start to break down.

- Add the shredded tuna, stir and cook for two to three minutes.
- Then, add the spaghetti along with the bechamel sauce and fold carefully with the help of a wooden spoon.
- Turn off the heat, pour the mixture into a glass baking dish, sprinkle with grated cheese and bake at 180 degrees C for about 25 to 30 minutes until slightly browned on top.

- Turn off the oven, sprinkle with thyme and serve.
