Tuna with Spaghetti in the Oven

  2. Cook the spaghetti in a pan with water seasoned with a peeled whole onion and a little salt.
  3. When the pasta is cooked according to package instructions, drain it and set aside on a plate.

  5. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C .
  6. Place the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  7. Then add the onion slices, bay leaf and the tomatoes.
  8. Leave to saute over low heat until the tomatoes start to break down.

  10. Add the shredded tuna, stir and cook for two to three minutes.
  11. Then, add the spaghetti along with the bechamel sauce and fold carefully with the help of a wooden spoon.
  12. Turn off the heat, pour the mixture into a glass baking dish, sprinkle with grated cheese and bake at 180 degrees C for about 25 to 30 minutes until slightly browned on top.

  14. Turn off the oven, sprinkle with thyme and serve.
