Chocolate Laced Pecan Pie Recipe
- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. butter, melted
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 3 Large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. pecan halves
- 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Combine sugar, butter, corn syrup, Large eggs and salt.
- Beat together at medium speed.
- Stir in chips and nuts.
- Pour into crust; cover loosely with foil.
- Bake for 30 min.
- Remove foil completely and bake 15 min more to brown pie (put foil back on if pie browns too quickly).
- Remove from oven and let cold and set for at least one hour.
