Family Casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. In a saucepan, combine beef, onion, garlic and 1/4 cup water; cook until onions are tender.
  3. Spread half of potatoes in a 3 quart casserole.
  4. Top with half of meat mixture, then carrots, then cheese, then remaining meat mixture. Mix soup with 1/2 soup can of water; pour over casserole and top with remaining potatoes.
  5. Bake, uncovered at 350u0b0 for approximately 1 hour.
  6. When potatoes are fork tender, combine biscuit mix with enough milk to make a thin consistency; pour over casserole.
  7. Bake 5 to 10 minutes longer or until dough is lightly browned.
  8. Yield: 6 servings.
