Non-Fried Healthy Sweet and Sour Pork with Pork Loin

  1. Flavor the pork with the ingredients.
  2. Thin cuts absorb flavor easily, so there's no need for it to sit for long.
  3. Cut each strip of the flavored pork roast in half as shown.
  4. Fold the cut roast in half.
  5. Take rough edges and fold into the center, forming square pieces.
  6. Dust the meat on both sides with katakuriko (not listed in ingredients).
  7. Spread enough oil in the pan to cover the bottom and fry the pork.
  8. You only need enough oil to cover about half of the meat.
  9. Chop the green pepper, cut the carrots into strips, and roughly chop the onion.
  10. Boil to about 90% cooked.
  11. Add the ingredients to a pan and bring to a boil.
  12. Pour in the katakuriko slurry to thicken the sauce.
  13. Add pork and vegetables into the pan from Step 7, and mix with the sauce to complete.

pork loin, soy sauce, sake, salt, green peppers, carrot, onion, vinegar, sugar, soy sauce, ketchup, chinese soup stock, water, slurry
