Sauteed Sesame Cabbage Recipe
- 1 tbsp. sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 head (1 lb.) Chinese cabbage, halved lengthwise and sliced 1/4 inch thick
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- In a 10-inch skillet over medium heat, toast seeds, stirring frequently, for about 2 min or possibly till golden.
- Transfer to a small bowl; set aside.
- Increase heat to high and heat butter in skillet.
- Add in cabbage.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper and saute/fry for 2-3 min or possibly till white parts of leaves are crisp-tender.
- Transfer cabbage to a serving dish.
- Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
