Double-Lemon Flower Power Cupcakes

  1. Prepare cake batter as directed on package for 24 cupcakes, stirring drink mix into batter before spooning into paper-lined muffin cups.
  2. Bake 20 to 25 min.
  3. or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean.
  4. Cool in pans 10 min.
  5. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
  6. Make hole in center of each cupcake, forming a tunnel from top to bottom, using wooden spoon handle.
  7. Spoon COOL WHIP into small resealable plastic bag.
  8. Cut small piece off one bottom corner of bag; use to pipe small amount of COOL WHIP into each cupcake.
  9. Flatten gumdrops; place in center of each cupcake.
  10. Pipe remaining COOL WHIP around gumdrops to resemble petals.
  11. Sprinkle edges of petals with colored sugar.
