Pork Chop Skillet Dinner Recipe
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 6 (1/2 inch thick) pork chops
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 6 sm. potatoes (unpeeled)
- 10 ounce. pkg. frzn English peas (thawed)
- 5 med. carrots (sliced)
- 4 sm. onions (quartered)
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- Heat oil in an electric skillet over medium heat.
- Sprinkle pork chops with 3/4 tsp.
- salt and 1/2 tsp.
- pepper; brown chops on both sides.
- Peel a 1 inch strip around center of each potato; add in to skillet with peas, carrots, onions and water.
- Sprinkle with remaining salt and pepper.
- Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 45 min or possibly till pork chops are tender.
- Yield: 6 servings.
