Ginger Chicken

  1. Clean and trim excess fat from chicken.
  2. Pat dry.
  3. Rub salt all over chicken, both inside and outside.
  4. Refrigerate 8 hours or over night.
  5. Bring enough water to cover chicken to a boil, put in go-pi, garlic and chicken.
  6. Cook at medium heat for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove from pot, drain excess water from chicken.
  8. Let chicken chill in refrigerator, then cut into serving pieces.
  9. Combine the ginger sauce ingredients together then chill.
  10. To serve, pour sauce over chicken or serve sauce in a separate bowl.
