Sticky Hot Pasta Recipe honeycheeseguys
- 1 package of chipotle gourmet pasta (many brands available at specialty markets)
- good half cup of favorite local honey (warmed to thin)
- quarter to half cup of garlic infused olive oil
- third cup of cilantro or other fresh herbs
- salt for taste and in boiling water
- black pepper, if you feel the need for taste
- Boil the gourmet pasta in accordance with instructions.
- Usually in 8 to 10 cups of water, moderately salted.
- Cook it until it tastes done but is not too soft.
- While waiting, combine honey and olive oil until well mixed and flavor of honey stays strong.
- Salt and pepper a little.
- Drain and the pasta.
- Which means run it under cool water for about 1 minute to stop the cooking process.
- Gourmet or hand-made pastas cook quickly and continue to cook after being drained.
- Let the pasta continue to cool for about 15 or so minutes.
- (These pastas change their flavors a bit as they cool.
- Chipotle pasta is smoky hot and you want to be sure how this will taste for flavoring.
- Pour the honey oil over the pasta and mix gently but completely.
- Add in the herbs.
- Salt and pepper to your desire.
- Serve with any KC Masterpiece grilled meat or hearty fish.
