Hibiscus Flower Concentrate

  1. In a 6-8 quart saucepan bring water to a boil.
  2. Add flowers, stir and simmer over medium heat for 10-12 minutes.
  3. Turn off heat and let the mixture cool a little bit.
  4. Strain mixture into a large container (with a lid to cover later) and add the sugar and lime juice.
  5. Stir until well-dissolved.
  6. Once the concentrate has completely cooled, cover well and refrigerate.
  7. It will keep in the refrigerator for months.
