Sweet & Savory Nagaimo Yam Stir-fry with Bonito Flakes
- 10 cm Nagaimo yam
- 1 less then 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
- 1 tbsp Mentsuyu
- 1/2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 Shichimi spice
- 1/2 pack ~ Bonito flakes
- Cut the nagaimo yam lengthwise into half, and cut them into slices slightly thicker than 1 cm.
- Heat sesame oil in a pot, and stir-fry the yams.
- When they are lightly browned, pour in ingredients to coat.
- Sprinkle on shichimi spice to your liking and bonito flakes, and mix together, and it's done.
- (I used 1 pack of bonito flakes in the picture.)
