Zingy Crab Ole
- 1 pkg. (250g) Philadelphia Brick Cream Cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1/4 tsp. grated lime rind Safeway 3 ct For $1.00 thru 02/09
- 1 can (4.23oz/120g can) crabmeat, drained and flaked
- 2 Tbsp. Heinz Chili Sauce
- 1 Tbsp. lime juice
- 1/4 tsp. chili powder
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1/4 tsp. each: salt and pepper
- 1 Tbsp. chopped jalapeno peppers (optional)
- Ritz Crackers
- BLEND cream cheese, sour cream and lime rind, in food processor or blender, until smooth.
- SPREAD evenly in bottom of 9-inch (1L/23cm) pie plate.
- Cover and chill until firm.
- COMBINE crab meat, chili sauce, lime juice, chili powder, salt and pepper.
- SPOON over cheese layer.
- SPRINKLE with onions and jalapenos, if desired.
- CHILL until serving time.
- SERVE with crackers.
