Andrew P's BBQ Sauce

• 3 cups ketchup
• 3 tablespoons brown sugar
• 1 medium onion, grated
• 5 -6 drops liquid smoke (hickory)
• Tabasco sauce (optional)

1. Place all ingredients in a saucepan and cook, stirring now and then, over medium heat until sugar is completely melted.
2. Usually takes about 10 minutes.
