Shortcut Lamb Samosas

  1. Heat oil in large skillet on high heat.
  2. Add cumin seed; cook and stir 30 sec.
  3. Add meat and seasonings; cook and stir 3 min.
  4. or until meat is lightly browned.
  5. Add yogurt and dressing; cook 5 min., stirring constantly.
  6. Drain.
  7. Spoon into large bowl.
  8. Add cheese and coriander; mix lightly.
  9. Refrigerate 15 min.
  10. Meanwhile, heat oven to 400 degrees F. Roll out 1 pastry block to 9-inch square on lightly floured surface; cut into 3 (3-inch-wide) strips.
  11. Cut each strip into 3 (3-inch) squares.
  12. Dust squares lightly with flour; stack on plate.
  13. Repeat with remaining pastry block.
  14. Spoon about 1-1/2 Tbsp.
  15. meat mixture onto centre of each pastry square; fold diagonally in half.
  16. Firmly press edges together to seal.
  17. Place on baking sheet; brush with egg.
  18. Bake 15 to 18 min.
  19. or until crisp and golden brown.
