Chocolate Filbert Clusters
- 1 12 cups filberts
- 1 bar french pastry chocolate (9oz.)
- 1 teaspoon instant coffee powder
- 1 teaspoon sald oil
- Spread filberts in a shallow baking pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees until toasted, 10-12 minute Cool.
- Rub offf as much of the skins as possible with your hands.
- Break chococlate into squares.
- Place in top of double boiler over simmering water.
- Stirrings occasionally, heat chocolate until melted.
- Remove from heat.
- Mix in instant cofee and oil until smooth and glossy.
- Stir in nuts to coat well.
- Drop fibert clusters by heaping teaspoonfuls onto buttered waxed paper on a baking sheet.
- Let stand at cool room temperatre unti set.
- Then store, airtight, in a covered container in a cool place.
