Cheesy Chicken And Rice
- 4 cups cooked rice
- 1/2 cup butter, divided
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 teaspoon chicken bouillon
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 4 to 5 cups cooked chicken
- 12 ounces processed cheese (velveeta)
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 1/3 cup crushed butter crackers (ritz)
- Prepare a 9 x 13 inch greased baking dish.
- Mix 1/4 cup butter, flour, milk, bouillon, seasoned salt, garlic powder and pepper until smooth.
- Bring to a boil and cool until thickened.
- Reduce heat and add chicken, process cheese and sour cream.
- Stir until melted.
- Add cooked rice and pour into baking dish.
- Take 1/4 cup butter and crushed crackers and brown in skillet.
- Use this as the topping.
- Bake at 425 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.
