Easy Vegetable Chow Mein

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook your noodles according to the package instructions (dont use the flavor packet).
  2. Drain them then put them into a bowl and toss with butter to prevent sticking.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Prepare your vegetables as instructed on the package.
  5. Since we used a frozen pack, this just required 5 minutes in the microwave.
  6. Combined all of the ingredients for your sauce in a bowl and whisk until sugar is dissolved.
  7. Bring a saucepan up to medium heat, and throw in your noodles.
  8. Leave them undisturbed for 2-3 minutes to allow them to start crisping.
  9. Add in your cooked vegetables then pour in your sauce.
  10. Toss everything to coat and allow the mixture to fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  11. The rest of the cooking time will depend on how thick you like your sauce, or how crisp you like your noodles.
  12. Just keep an eye on it until youve reached your preference.
  13. Remove from heat, split into two servings and enjoy!
