Delicious Japanese-Style Croquettes

  1. Boil the potatoes.
  2. After boiling, drain, and let cool to evaporate the water.
  3. I usually cook it in the rice cooker to cook.
  4. Peel the potato skins, and wrap them foil.
  5. This way, you don't have to evaporate the water.
  6. Mash the potatoes while they are hot, mix in butter, and coat.
  7. You don't have to add butter if you hate the smell.
  8. Heat a pan with oil, and saute the onions, making sure not to burn them.
  9. Add in the ground beef and pork, and the seasoning, and boil while taking care not to burn it.
  10. Add the ingredients from Step 3 while the potatoes are still hot, and mix.
  11. I always stick it in the fridge to cool.
  12. Mold the croquettes (into any shape you like), cover with the batter, and fry in oil.
  13. Before frying.
  14. After frying.
