Chocolate Marshmallow Dessert Recipe
- 12 graham crackers
- 1/2 pound marshmallows
- 3 egg yolks
- 1/2 c. chocolate sauce
- 3 egg whites
- 1/2 c. nuts
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- Mash graham crackers; sprinkle half in bottom of 8 x 11 inch pan or possibly shallow dish.
- Beat egg whites stiff; add in marshmallows, cut fine, and nuts.
- Pour this mix over crumbs.
- Beat egg yolks; add in sugar, butter and chocolate sauce.
- Put this on top of egg white mix; cover with remaining crumbs and let stand in refrigerator for several hrs.
- Don't freeze.
