Russian Cabbage Rolls Recipe
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1/2 pound grnd pork
- 1/3 c. cooked rice
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 onion, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 head cabbage
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 can tomato soup
- Combine the beef, pork, rice, egg, sugar, onion, garlic pwdr, salt and pepper.
- Place cabbage leaves in boiling warm water for a few min for easy rolling.
- Roll meat mix inside individual leaves.
- Place rolls in baking pan.
- Dot with butter.
- Combine soup and water.
- Pour over rolls.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
