Beef Stew With Shiitake Mushrooms Recipe
- 12 x new potatoes quartered
- 1 med onion minced
- 1 bag baby-cut carrots - (8 ounce)
- 1 pkt fresh shiitake mushrooms - (3.4 ounce) sliced
- 1 can diced tomatoes - (14 1/2 ounce) undrained
- 1 can condensed beef broth - (10 1/2 ounce)
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp dry marjoram leaves
- 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
- 1 lb beef stew meat cut into 1/2" pcs
- Mix all ingredients except beef in crockpot.
- Add in beef.
- Cover and cook on LOW heat 8 to 9 hrs or possibly till vegetables and beef are tender.
- Stir well before serving.
- This recipe yields 8 servings.
- Comments: You can use 2 c. of sliced regular mushrooms instead of the shiitake ones if you want.
