Time-Saving Meat Sauce

  1. Mince the onion.
  2. Grate the carrot.
  3. Lightly salt and pepper the ground meat.
  4. Melt some butter in a frying pan, and cook the onions.
  5. Once they've wilted, add the carrots.
  6. Once the onions have become transparent add the ground meat and cook.
  7. Once the meat has cooked through, add the tomato, red wine, ketchup, sauce, and soup stock.
  8. Let it simmer for awhile.
  9. Once half of the moisture has cooked off, flavor the mixture with salt and pepper, and it's complete!
  10. It's great with pasta and penne of course, but also delicious on top of rice!
  11. It can also be used as filling in pies and bread.
  12. There are many ways to use this.
