  1. Rinse turkey quickly

  3. pat
  4. dry.
  5. Reserve
  6. neck and giblets for gravy.
  7. Brush
  8. turkey
  9. with small amount of melted butter.
  10. Combine seasonings and
  11. use amount needed on skin and cavity (to taste).
  12. Add 1 to
  13. 2 cups water.
  14. Cover and bake at 350u0b0 for 3 to 4 hours.
  15. If
  16. not
  17. brown,
  18. remove cover and bake for 30 more minutes at
  19. 300u0b0.
  20. Cover
  21. turkey
  22. on
  23. platter with foil to let it absorb
  24. juices.
  25. It
  26. can
  27. then
  28. be stuffed with herbed seasoning such
  29. as
  30. Pepperidge Farm stuffing mixed with celery and sauteed chopped onion.
