Scrumptious Lumps

  1. Sift the flour and add butter and sugar.
  2. Knead together and press into a 7" pan.
  3. Bake at 350F for 25 minutes.
  4. Cool in the tin.
  5. Put the margarine, sugar, syrup and milk in a saucepan.
  6. Stir over a gentle heat until the sugar dissolves and then bring to a boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  7. Beat well and pour onto the base.
  8. In a double boiler, melt the chocolate and pour over the filling.
  9. Slice into squares when the chocolate is fully hardened.
