Breakfast Sausage Casserole

  1. Place croutons in greased 13x9x2" pan or casserole dish.
  2. Top with cheese and mushrooms.
  3. Brown sausage and onion; drain, cut sausage in pieces and spread with onions over cheese.
  4. Beat egg with 2 cups of milk and seasonings; pour over sausage mixture.
  5. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  6. (May be frozen at this point).
  7. Mix soup with 1/2 cup milk and spread on top of casserole before you bake.
  8. Bake 325 for 60 minutes.
