Yeast Rolls
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 14 cup oats
- 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
- 1 (1/4 ounce) packet active dry yeast
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon artificial sweetener
- 14 cup water
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 large egg
- Mix flour, oats, seeds, yeast, baking powder, and an desired spices/sweeteners in a large bowl.
- Heat water and oil together for 20-30 seconds in the microwave.
- Gently mix water/oil mixture into dry ingredients.
- Add egg and mix until ball forms.
- Cover bowl, set in a warm place, and allow to rise until doubled in size (about one hour).
- Preheat oven to 350 f and grease one muffin pan.
- Divide batter among muffin cups--makes about 10 rolls.
- Sprinkle additional seeds on top if desired.
- Bake for approximately 15 minutes and allow to cool.
