Maple Sugar Caramels

  1. In a medium sized pan, combine all the sugars, corn syrup and cream until sugar dissolves.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until candy thermometer reads 250 degrees F.
  3. Remove pan from heat and stir in the salt, butter and nuts.
  4. Pour mixture into a buttered pan and let cool.
  5. Cut into squares.
