Cheeseburger Mac And Cheese
- 1 lb Lean ground beef
- 1/4 box Velveeta process cheese, cubed
- 1 cup Milk or half and half, divided
- 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 1 Salt and pepper
- 1 Onion and garlic powders, I used Everglades seasoning
- 1 lb Pasta of choice, I used bow ties
- 1 tbsp AP flour
- 1 cup Panko bread crumbs mixed with 2 tablespoons oil and salt and pepper
- Preheat oven to 375
- Melt cubed velveeta and 3/4 cup milk or half and half in microwave til smooth.
- Par-boil pasta for about 3 minutes, drain.
- Brown ground beef and season.
- Once browned stir in flour til absorbed.
- Splash in last 1/4 of milk and stir to a boil and thick.
- Turn off heat.
- Stir cheese sauce into beef mixture.
- Add pasta and stir.
- Poor into sprayed dish and cover with foil.
- Bake about 20 minutes.
- Remove foil and add bread crumbs.
- Crank heat to 425 til browned.
- Enjoy
