Creole Seasoning
- 1 tablespoon ground paprika
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cayenne
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 bay leaf, stemmed and crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
- Place all the ingredients in a spice mill or coffee grinder and process to a fine powder.
- Store the mixture in an airtight container in a cool, dark, dry place for up to 4 months.
